Updates.

I feel like you never really know your in a depression until you start to pull yourself out of it. Its been over 2 months since my last post! Holy cow. I feel terrible about that, but I couldn't bring myself to type anything. As I prepare to travel and spend Christmas with my family stateside I've started to feel better. Jeremy is growing up handsomely and I've continued to take everything one day at a time.

Walls come down..

This past Saturday I celebrated my 24th birthday by taking a day trip to Berlin, the capital city of Germany. I was accompanied by the gorgeous Miss Jaci and we had so much fun! I hope you guys enjoy the pictures just as much as I enjoyed being there.

With the split, Jeremy and I have been spending A LOT of time together, usually moping around the house. As would any mom, however, I have my son's best interests at heart. I want him to have a happy childhood and remember good times. We spent yesterday all over Kaiserslautern. Hopefully, memories like these will be the ones he retains...

Keep Stretching: You'll Reach Your Goals.

I am a SERGEANT! This is one of the most monumental times in a soldiers life, and I'm so excited that I was able to share it with you all. I love my job and progressing, even just a little bit makes it all worth it. We work long, hard hours but in the end, every piece of recognition that we get makes it all worth the while. Although I couldn't have everyone I wanted at my promotion, Schatz was there to secure my rank and give momma a kiss. Thank you guys for allowing me to serve you. Thank you for giving me this chance. I hope I make you proud..

Bittersweet Goodbyes..

We always talk about how the Army gives us the greatest opportunities to travel and meet new people. We often forget, however, at the end of each tour the amazing people we'll part ways with. It's been a week now since Jessica of Diva on a Budget has left me, but I'm making due. We facetime and iMessage regularly, and I just continue to tell myself that she's on vacation. Sad huh?! We had a good 3 years together. She was with me during the birth of my son and was always down for a midweek sushi run. I'll miss her very much, but I know she'll be better off with her new life..

Sometimes, they end.

Fairytales. Sometimes, they do end. Mine did, anyway. It was a hard decision, but one that had to be made. I AM FILING FOR A DIVORCE. whew. 3 years and a beautiful baby boy later, we just were not meant to be together. Not because of what others stacked in front of us; it was what we stacked in front of each other. Some things are unforgivable. Some things can not be put in the past. Some things you have to walk away from. This is a LONG, HARD process and I'm trying to take it 1 day at a time.

Guys! I'm definitely sorry for the lack of posting, once again. There has been SO MUCH going on with my crazy life in the past couple weeks that I just couldn't bring myself to it. Without jinxing or jeopardizing my current situation I'll say that I am at a major turning point in both my marriage and  my career. Once things become more stable and its safe to post without recourse, I'll definitely go into more details... Not jut for you, but as a release for me. Thanks for understanding..

"Leaders Training Leaders.."

I'm so sorry for not telling you guys sooner, but I'm attending Warrior Leaders Course (WLC)! Its an academy for junior soldiers in the Army where they train you to become leaders. They give you the tools and fundamentals you'll need to motivate, train and lead your own soldiers. Also, with successful completion of this 3 week course I'll receive points towards my promotion. Hopefully I'll become a Sergeant in the next couple months. I know I usually dont talk about my job much, so I just wanted to give you guys an update. Maybe in the future I'll make a vlog letting you guys know what I actually do. Til next time, stay fabulous!

Last night I attended a birthday dinner at Chili's for a co-worker of mine. Many were in attendance, including the lovely Chassity of Glitz & Glam! We had an amazing time and I hope that Nikkia has an awesome 3- birthday!
