With the split, Jeremy and I have been spending A LOT of time together, usually moping around the house. As would any mom, however, I have my son's best interests at heart. I want him to have a happy childhood and remember good times. We spent yesterday all over Kaiserslautern. Hopefully, memories like these will be the ones he retains...

I am a SERGEANT! This is one of the most monumental times in a soldiers life, and I'm so excited that I was able to share it with you all. I love my job and progressing, even just a little bit makes it all worth it. We work long, hard hours but in the end, every piece of recognition that we get makes it all worth the while. Although I couldn't have everyone I wanted at my promotion, Schatz was there to secure my rank and give momma a kiss. Thank you guys for allowing me to serve you. Thank you for giving me this chance.
