Nothing was the same..

Can you see that look in my eyes?! Or the smile on my face?! I can honestly say that I am in a much better place now than I was 4 months ago. My family is complete, including my beau who is now here after waiting for the government to work out their kinks with this past shutdown. Still have a couple major things in the works, that I dont want to speak on them just yet. Hopefully I'll have something good to write about sometime very soon.

My Old Glory

As my 5th Veteran's Day as a member of the Armed Forces passed, I realized how important the job of a service member really is. And just how much we are respected for the choices we make. It really does mean a lot to me to when I am thanked for my service, and from the bottom of my heart I appreciate it every time I hear it. My family is built on service, with our newest member being my little brother, Glenn. We enjoy what we do, and we appreciate being given that chance to serve. So from my military family to yours, we thank you for allowing us to serve you.
